12th Confucius Institute Conference Held in Xi¡¯an Today
Series of Exhibitions Attract Foreign Friends

The 12th Confucius Institute Conference was held on December 12th in Xi'an. University presidents as well as representatives of Confucius Institutes (Classrooms) from over 140 countries, envoys from foreign embassies in China, delegates from international institutes of language and culture promotion, Chinese national ministries, local education administrations and host universities attended the conference. Themed ¡°Deepening Cooperation, Developing through Innovation, Working Together to Build a Community of Shared Future for Mankind¡±, it is the first time for the conference to establish a ¡°conference forum¡±. Presidents and scholars from prestigious universities at home and abroad will exchange ideas on the ¡°Development of Confucius Institutes and Building of a Community with Shared Future for Mankind¡±. During the conference, there will be exhibitions such as the Confucius Institutes¡¯ Achievements Exhibition, the Confucius Institute Chinese Language Teaching Resource Exhibition, the Theme Exhibition on Chinese Food Culture, the Brief Introduction to Higher Education in Shaanxi and the Calligraphy Creative Product Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy Institute. The closing ceremony will be held on the afternoon of December 13th.
