Wang highly recognized the achievements of the Confucius Institute at SamSILF. He pointed out that Confucius Institutes have met the needs of learning Chinese overseas and provided more opportunities for learners abroad. Though the institute had a rather short history, it has made remarkable contributions to the people-to-people bond alongside the ¡°Belt and Road¡±. As the saying goes, ¡°The key to sound relations between states lies in the affinity between their people, which largely stems from mutual understanding.¡± Wang hoped that the friendship between two nations can facilitate the affinity and mutual understanding between the two peoples and prolong bilateral relationship.
